Since the inception and formation of the association, we have been making efforts to reach all Uttaranchalis residing in North America and compile an updated directory. We have succeeded in this effort to a limited extent. We strongly feel that we still have not been able to contact all of the Uttaranchalis and it is our continued effort and dream to make all Uttranchalis a part of this association. We need your help, please show your support for this association by becoming a member and provide us with names and addresses of any Uttaranchalis who you know and are still not a member of this association. We request and thank all of the Uttranchalis for their continued efforts to make this association grow. The rate of $25.00 membership dues per household remains unchanged for the year 2000. To become a member or to renew your membership for the year 2000 please send membership dues at your earliest convenience. The check should be made payable to "UTTARANCHAL ASSOCIATION" and sent to the treasurer at the following address: Jagmohan Bist For membership information and details please contact us via the e-mail at: [email protected]The association had only 35 paid members till the end of May 1999. Our collective efforts have succeeded in enrolling 130 Uttaranchali families as paid members. Still we find that out of some 250 plus families listed in the directory, only 50% have become paid members. We, therefore, urge/request all Uttaranchali families to become paid members during the year 2000. |
